Abellana Arts

I'm a foreign-born artist from Cebu City, Philippines. I am of Filipino and Spanish descent. I immigrated to the U.S. with my family in 1991, and currently live in Southwest Illinois near St. Louis, MO. 

I create art through painting and illustrating both by hand and digitally. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.

I make it a priority to be with family, they keep me centered. I also love trying different cuisines, gardening, and traveling to other countries and cities to experience their art and culture. I also love visiting the ocean as much as possible. Being an island native, the ocean is where I find peace.
